Dut, dut ağacında yetişen küçük, tatlı ve koyu renkli bir meyvedir. Kelime hem meyve hem ağacı için kullanılır.

‘Dut’, hem meyveye hem ağaca denir; bağlamdan hangisi olduğu anlaşılır. Günlük yiyeceklerde pek kullanılmaz. Meyve olarak böğürtlen veya ahududu ile karıştırmayın.
