「麻瓜」是指沒有魔法能力的人，尤其用於哈利波特的世界。也可以泛指沒有某種特殊技能或不屬於某一圈子的人。

非正式、因哈利波特而流行。偶爾幽默稱呼不懂某領域者（如“科技麻瓜”）。無冒犯意味，比較玩笑。多數情境用於複數。
