"Mugger" refere-se especificamente a quem assalta pessoas diretamente (cara a cara) em público, não a quem rouba de forma discreta. Usado em "street mugger", "caught the mugger". Não confunda com "burglar" (arrombador) ou "pickpocket" (batedor de carteira).
