الفتحة في وجهك التي تأكل بها، وتتحدث، وتتنفس من خلالها. يمكن أيضًا استخدام "mouth" لوصف مدخل شيء ما، ككهف أو نهر.

تُستخدم حرفيًا (عضو من الجسم) ومجازيًا (مثل 'mouth of the river'). تعبير شائع: 'by word of mouth' (من شخص لآخر شفويًا). لا تخلط بينها وبين 'face' (الوجه بالكامل) أو 'oral' (فموي أو شفهي).
