紀念碑紀念物

Definition

為紀念某人、事件或歷史重要時期建造的大型建築或雕像。紀念碑可以是著名的旅遊景點，也可以是本地重要地點。

“Monuments” 指較大且有重要意義的建築物，不用於小型紀念物。常見搭配有「歷史紀念碑」、「參觀紀念碑」、「國家紀念碑」。不要和「雕像」混淆，雕像通常只代表一個人或動物，不一定用來紀念。
