モンスターや怪物は、見た目が怖かったり危険そうな想像上の生き物です。とても残酷だったり異常に大きい人や物にも使うことがあります。

主に物語や映画、ゲームで使われます。実際の人に「モンスター」と呼ぶのはとても強い否定的な表現です。「movie monsters」「monster truck」などでは大きさを強調する意味もあります。
