モニターは、コンピューターに接続された画面で、文字や画像、動画を表示します。また、何かをよく見守る、監督する意味もあります。

名詞では主にコンピューターの画面を指します。動詞としては医療やビジネスなどで『monitor progress』『monitor blood pressure』の形で使われます。『screen』とは区別してください。
