'Mixing' é usado bastante na cozinha (misturando ingredientes), em música (misturar faixas) e para ideias ou culturas. Normalmente informal. Não confundir com 'stirring' (mexer) – só para comida/líquidos, ou 'blending' – que enfatiza homogeneidade.
