傳教士是被派往他地（通常是外國）傳播宗教信仰、協助當地社區的人。他們經常從事宗教、社會或教育工作。

多指基督教的傳教士，也可指類似宗教人士。常用搭配：「外籍傳教士」、「傳教工作」、「傳教行程」。亦可比喻極度熱忱於某事的人。正式且具尊敬語感。
