鉱山地雷

Definition

「鉱山」や「地雷」の複数形。地下資源を採掘する場所、または地面や海に隠された爆発物を指します。

『coal mines』『gold mines』は採掘場、『land mines』『naval mines』は兵器。「mine（私の）」という意味と混同しないように注意。

The workers went down into the mines early in the morning.
