हवा में ज़मीन से ऊपर का वह स्थान, जहाँ कुछ चीज़ उड़ रही हो, तैर रही हो या लटक रही हो।

आम तौर पर संज्ञा रूप में 'in midair' जैसे वाक्यांशों में प्रयोग होता है। इसका अर्थ है कोई चीज़ जमीन को न छू रही हो। खेलों, जिमनास्टिक्स या करतब में आम शब्द है।
