Definition

'Merry' শব্দের তুলনামূলক রূপ, যার অর্থ আরও বেশি আনন্দিত, খুশিমনে বা উচ্ছ্বসিত। প্রায়ই বাক্যাংশ 'the more, the merrier'-এ ব্যবহার হয়, অর্থাৎ বেশি লোক বা জিনিস থাকলে মজা আরও বাড়ে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত 'the more, the merrier' বাক্যাংশে ব্যবহৃত হয়। আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে বলার জন্য 'more cheerful' বা 'happier' বেছে নিতে পারেন। সিরিয়াস বা দুঃখজনক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহার করবেন না।
