‘상인’은 격식적이거나 역사적인 맥락에서 사용되고, 일상에서는 ‘가게 주인’, ‘판매자’ 등이 더 자주 쓰입니다. ‘merchant ships’, ‘merchant class’ 등은 역사나 특정 상황에서만 사용됩니다. 서비스 판매자에게는 쓰지 않습니다.
