誰かが何かについて簡単に話したり、言及したときに使います。「mention」の過去形で、名詞の前で形容詞的にも使えます。

'Mention'は簡単に触れる意味で、詳しく説明するわけではありません。'as mentioned earlier'や'the mentioned item'などフォーマルな表現でよく使います。'say'や'talk about'と混同しないようにしましょう。
