平凡なありふれた

Definition

平均的で特別良くも悪くもない、印象に残らない普通のもの。

やや否定的な意味で使われることが多く、レビューや批評の場面でよく見られる。'performance'や'result'などの名詞と一緒に使用されることが多い。'average'（中立）や'awful'（もっと悪い）と混同しないように。

The food at that restaurant was mediocre.

あのレストランの料理は**平凡な**味だった。
