두 사건 사이의 시간이나 그 시간 동안 일어나는 일을 의미합니다. 무언가를 기다리는 동안 무엇을 하는지 말할 때 사용합니다.

주로 'in the meantime' 형태로 쓰이며, 혼자 사용할 때는 다소 격식을 갖춥니다. 임시로 무엇을 할 때 표현할 수 있습니다.

Dinner will be ready in an hour. In the meantime, you can set the table.
