平坦またはなだらかな傾斜地に広がる、野草や野花がたくさんある開けた場所。多くは田舎にあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「meadows」は自然や景色の表現、文学でよく使われます。「grassy meadows」「open meadows」などと組み合わせて使います。作物畑や森には用いません。
