Definition

「MC」とは、舞台でアーティストやイベントを紹介する人のことで、特にラップやヒップホップの分野では自らも歌詞を披露し、観客を盛り上げます。「Master of Ceremonies」の略です。

「MC」はヒップホップ／ラップでラップを担当する人の意味。一般的なイベントの司会者も指す。英語では「emcee」とも書く。
