मोटा, मुलायम गद्दा जिसपर सोया जाता है, आमतौर पर पलंग पर रखा जाता है। 'Mattresses' 'mattress' का बहुवचन है।

यह हमेशा बहुवचन में ही उपयोग होता है। आमतौर पर 'खरीदना', 'बदलना', 'आरामदायक' जैसे शब्दों के साथ आता है। ये केवल गद्दों के लिए है, बिस्तर के लिए नहीं।
