射撃の名手とは、銃などを使って遠くの標的に正確に当てる能力に優れた人のことです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に軍隊や警察、スポーツ、狩猟などの文脈で使われます。「shooter」よりもフォーマルで、「sharpshooter」とほぼ同義ですが正式な資格名になることもあります。性別問わず使えます。
