マリアッチは、メキシコの伝統的な音楽グループ、またはそのメンバーを指し、バイオリンやトランペット、ギターなどで陽気な民謡を演奏します。

「マリアッチ」はバンド全体や奏者一人にも使います。主にお祝い事やパーティーのイメージがあります。日本語ではカタカナ表記でそのまま使われます。
