ব্যবসায় 'profit margins' বলতে লাভের পার্থক্য বোঝায়। লেখালেখি বা প্রিন্টিংয়ে 'margins' মানে পৃষ্ঠার চারপাশের ফাঁকা স্থান। পৃষ্ঠার প্রান্ত বোঝাতে সর্বদা বহুবচন হয়।
