動物、特に牛や馬が餌を食べるための長い箱や桶のこと。多くは木や石で作られている。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

農業や聖書の場面（特にイエスが飼い葉桶に寝かされた話）で使われます。日常会話で使うことはほとんどありません。「マネージャー」と混同しないよう注意。
