必須のものは、法律や規則、権威によって求められており、必ず行わなければならないことです。選択できません。

‘Mandatory’は‘required’や‘necessary’よりもフォーマルな表現です。'mandatory training'（必須研修）、'mandatory meeting'（必須会議）などで使われます。'optional'（任意）と混同しないように注意しましょう。
