어떤 일이나 사람을 책임지고 맡거나, 어떤 상황이나 일을 잘 해결하는 것.

사람, 일, 자원을 관리할 때 자주 사용하며 ('manages a team', 'manages time'), 어려움을 잘 극복할 때도 씁니다('manages to finish'). 'control'(엄격히 통제하다)와는 차이가 있습니다.
