Definition

當某物（特別是機器或設備）不能正常工作或無法按預期運作時，就叫做 malfunction。

多用作名詞，正式/技術用語。常與'machine'、'system'、'device'等連用。和'break'（完全損壞）不同，'malfunction'指運作異常或部分失靈，不一定完全停擺。
