'mahal' अनौपचारिक रूप से केवल अधिक दाम वाली चीज़ों के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है, न कि समय या मेहनत जैसे अन्य खर्चे के लिए। अक्सर वस्तुएँ, भोजन, कपड़े आदि के संदर्भ में प्रयोग होता है।
