手品師は、不思議な手品やトリックで人を楽しませる人です。物語の中では、本当に魔法が使える人のことも指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に舞台でトリックを披露する人に対して「手品師」を使います。「魔法使い」は物語やファンタジーで本物の魔法を使う人物です。スキルの高い人を比喩的に「手品師」と呼ぶこともあります。
