Definition
蒼蠅的幼蟲，體型小、柔軟、白色，通常出現在腐爛的食物或死去的動物等腐爛有機物中。

幾乎總是用複數形式'maggots'。帶有強烈的厭惡感。在釣魚中，蛆蟲常被用作魚餌。不要與'worm'（蠕蟲）混淆。
