狂気とは、非常に愚かな行動や常識外れの振る舞いを指します。

主にくだけた表現や強調したい時に使われます。本当の精神疾患については使わないでください。よく『pure lunacy』『it would be lunacy to～』『the lunacy of～』のような表現で登場します。

Jumping into that river in winter is pure lunacy.

冬にあの川に飛び込むなんて、まさに**狂気**だ。
