Definition

গাঁট সাধারণত ছোট, গোলাকার ও শক্ত কোনো বস্তু বোঝায়, যা ত্বকে বের হতে পারে বা খাবার ও তরলে ভালোভাবে মিশে যায়নি এমন অংশকে নির্দেশ করে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

রান্নায় 'lumps in the sauce' বলতে ঝোল বা তরল পদার্থে ছোটো গুটি বোঝায়। স্বাস্থ্য প্রসঙ্গে এটি ত্বকের নিচে ছোটো ফোলা অংশ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'Clumps' অর্থে গুলি গুলো একটু বড় ও অগোছালো হয়।
