下げること低くすること

Definition

物の位置、金額、レベルなどを下げたり、少なくしたりすること。実際の高さや数値、強さに使われる。

価格、温度、声、レベルを下げる時によく使う。フォーマル・カジュアル両方で使われる。'lowering' が形容詞（脅すような）の場合はほとんど使わない。

She is lowering the window because it is hot.

彼女は暑いので窓を**下げています**。

The company is lowering prices this month.

会社は今月、価格を**下げています**。
