Definition

世代や地域に受け継がれてきた物語、伝説、または特別な知識や慣習のこと。

「lore」は文語的で主に神話・伝説・民話の話題に使います。「folk lore」「ancient lore」などの表現でよく現れます。科学的知識には使いません。
