誰かの注意を引くために使われる、とても古風で砕けた言い方。「見て！」の昔のバージョンで、主に古い物語や歴史的な会話に登場します。

極めて古風な言い回しなので、現代の日常会話では使われません。歴史小説や時代劇のセリフなどで見られます。「lookee here」は「ほら、見てごらん」などになります。
