Definition

「look」の過去形で、人や物に目を向ける、または何かを目で探したことを表す。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

過去の出来事だけに使う。'looked at'（〜を見た）、'looked for'（〜を探した）、'looked like'（〜のように見えた）に注意。'watched'や 'saw' とは違う意味になるので注意。
