伐採は商業目的で木を切り倒す活動です。コンピューター分野では、操作記録を残すことも指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
通常は木の伐採（logging industry, illegal logging）を指しますが、ＩＴ分野では操作記録（activity logging）の意味もあります。「blogging」とは異なります。
