何かが詰まって動かせなくなっている状態、または苦情や書類を正式に提出したり、一時的に宿泊した場合にも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'lodged'は「喉に詰まった」や「足に残った」など医学的、物理的によく使われます。文書や苦情提出はフォーマルな言い方です。「宿泊した」はやや古めかしいので普段はあまり使いません。
