Definition

ローフとは、通常パンのような大きな塊や長方形で焼かれ、切って食べるものです。ミートローフのような同じ形の他の料理も指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

『a loaf of bread』は一斤のパン。パン型のミートローフなどにも使います。食パンや塊に対して用い、平べったいパンには使いません。
