聞く

Definition

音や話に注意を向けて聞くこと。相手の言うことや音楽などを意識して聞く場合に使います。

「listen」は「to」と一緒に「listen to music」のように使うことが多い。「hear」は単に音を聞く意味で、「listen」は意識して注意深く聞く時に使う。

She listens to music every day.

彼女は毎日音楽を**聞きます**。
