Definition

ウイスキーやウォッカ、ラムなどの強いアルコール飲料を指します。場合によってはアルコール全般を指すこともあります。

たいていビールやワインには使わず、強い蒸留酒を指します。アメリカ英語の 'liquor store', 'hard liquor' などの表現でよく使われます。'liquor' と 'liqueur' は異なり、'liqueur' は甘いお酒です。
