힘이 세고 큰 울음소리를 내며 무리(프라이드)로 사는 대형 야생 고양이입니다. '사자'의 복수형입니다.

주로 동물을 가리킬 때 사용합니다. 'male lions'는 수컷 사자, 'sea lions'는 다른 동물입니다. 한 마리는 'lion', 여러 마리는 'lions'로 씁니다.
