ユリは大きくて香りのよい花を咲かせる植物です。水辺に咲くスイレンなど、似た花にも使われることがあります。

通常は花を指します。「白いユリ」「スイレン」「ユリ池」などの表現とよく使われます。女性の名前「リリー」とは区別してください（カタカナ表記で区別されやすい）。
