Definition

公使馆是指在外国设立的比大使馆级别低的外交机构，也指在那里工作的人员。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

较为正式且有些过时，现在多用“大使馆”指主要外交机构。“Legation”多见于历史或外交文献中。注意不要与“代表团”（delegation）混淆。
