Definition

‘Lee’ হল এমন এক পাশ বা জায়গা যা বাতাস থেকে রক্ষা পায় এবং কখনও কখনও নৌকা চালনা বা বাইরে থাকার সময় ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণত কোন কিছুর যে পাশে বাতাস কম লাগে, সেটি lee হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'In the lee of' বলতে কিছু কিছুর পেছনে দাঁড়িয়ে বাতাস থেকে আড়াল বোঝায়। সাধারণ কথায় খুব বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয় না; এটি বেশি প্রযুক্তিগত বা সমুদ্র সংক্রান্ত প্রসঙ্গে আসে।
