「leave」の三人称単数形で、どこかを去る、または物を置いていくという意味です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

人がどこかを離れる場合（'She leaves at six'）や、物を置き去りにする場合（'He leaves his keys'）に使います。植物の「葉っぱ」とは意味が異なります。
