Definition

漏れとは、水やガス、情報などが意図せずに外へ出てしまうことを指します。穴や亀裂などから漏れる場合が多いです。

水漏れ、ガス漏れ、情報漏えいによく使います。「leak」は名詞にも動詞にもなります。情報の場合は許可なく外部に出る意味合いがあります。

There is a leak under the kitchen sink.
