面白いことや楽しいことで顔や声で喜びを表すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常は自動詞で「at」を伴って「笑う at joke」のように使う。「burst out laughing」は突然大声で笑うこと。無音の「smile」とは違う。
