"latest" in Japanese

Definition

最も新しいものや一番最近のものに使われる言葉で、ニュースや商品、情報などに幅広く用いられます。

多くの場合、名詞の前に置いて『the latest news』『the latest version』などと使います。「What’s the latest?」は新しい情報を尋ねる時に使われ、『late』（遅い）とは混同しないでください。
