Definition

指時間、順序或版本上最近的、最新的事物。常用於新聞、更新、產品或一系列事物中的最新一個。

常放在名詞前面，如 'the latest news'、'the latest version'。也可以單獨使用，如 'What’s the latest?'，意思是「最近有什麼新消息？」。不要和 'late' 混淆，'late' 通常表示「遲到的、晚的」.
