Definition
ランタンは持ち運びできる明かりで、よくカバーがついており、屋外やお祭りのときによく使われます。装飾や実用的な照明の両方で用いられます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
伝統的な油や電気のものは「ランタン」、お祭りの飾りには「提灯（ちょうちん）」も使われます。例：'ランタンフェスティバル', '提灯を飾る'。
